Bagmati Province decides to ensure better health services



HETAUDA: The first meeting of the newly-formed Council of Ministers of Bagmati Province held on Thursday has decided to bring about reforms in health sector in the province.

A decision has been made to instruct the Health Ministry to ensure equipment for oxygen plants and PCR-test kits, additional beds, ventilators and supplies of drugs in all province-level hospitals.

Chief Minister Rajendra Pandey said that province’s health ministry has been asked to ensure better provisions to safeguard people’s lives from COVID-19 and other diseases including seasonal flu through best possible supplies of drugs and other necessary services.
