Rs 10.3 billion allocated to railways



KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 10.30 billion for railway services.

Unveiling the budget for the coming fiscal year 2021/22, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel informed that programs including starting train service in Jayanagar-Janakpur-Kurta-Bijalpura and Jogwani-Biratnagar sections, starting construction of Bardibas station, feasibility study of metro train in Kathmandu are included in the coming fiscal year.

Despite all-round protests, the government is making public the budget for the coming fiscal year 2021/22 through an ordinance today.
