Need to deepen relations among three tiers of government: CM Gurung



POKHARA: Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Prithvi Subba Gurung has emphasized the need of deepening the relations among the three tiers of government in accordance with the letter and spirit of the constitution and as per the principle of co-existence, cooperation and coordination.

He noted that true tribute to the martyrs would be to fulfill the national aspiration of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’.

Gurung maintained that the provincial government was effortful towards moving ahead on the trail blazed by the martyrs while highly regarding their sacrifice for the national good.

Chief Minister Gurung stated this in a message of best wishes he gave on the occasion of Martyrs Day Friday.

“The four great martyrs who laid down their lives in the struggle for the establishment of democracy by overthrowing the Rana autocracy in 1997 BS and all the martyrs who got martyrdom in course of the various movements for restoration of democracy and establishment of the federal democratic republic remain as the ideal guides for the country,” he stated.

Chief Minister Gurung believed that the Martyrs Day would inspire all Nepalis, political parties and the civil society to be united for achieving prosperity for the country.
