KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said a low pressure weather system has started in Nepal.
According to the Division, the low pressure system which was developed in and around Rajasthan of India on Thursday evening has started impacting on the weather system of Nepal, too.
The weather is partly cloudy in some hilly areas of the country while Terai is covered in thick fogs. The weather is fair in the rest part of the country, said a weather bulletin issued by the Division.
Similarly, the weather is partly to generally cloudy in hilly region and fair in the rest of the country. Light snowfall is expected in high hilly and mountainous regions of Pradesh 1, Bagmati Pradesh and Gandaki and in a few places of Karnali and Sudurpaschim Pradesh today.
Likewise, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in hilly region and fair in the rest of the country with chances of light snowfall in high highly and mountainous regions of Pradesh 1, Bagmati and Gandaki Pradesh tonight.
