Central Zone Volleyball Challenge Cup: Nepal taking on Uzbekistan for title today



DHAKA: Nepal is taking on Uzbekistan for the title under the Asian Central Zone Volleyball Senior Men’s and Women’s Challenge Cup today.

The match between Nepal and Uzbekistan will start at Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium in Dhaka at 11:15 am.

Defending champion Nepal has entered the final after defeating host Bangladesh, Maldives, Uzbekistan, Kirgizstan and Sri Lanka.

Nepal is in the top position with 14 points from five matches while Uzbekistan is in the second position with 12 points.

Earlier, Nepal had won the title by defeating Maldives in the final held in Bangladesh in 2019.

Similarly, Nepal will play against Uzbekistan for the third place under the men’s volleyball tournament.
