Motorcyclist killed in road mishap in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: A motorcyclist died in a road accident at Sinamangal of Kathmandu.

The deceased has been identified as Sunil Prasad Mahato, 25, of Parsa.

According to the Police Headquarters, Mahato died this morning in course of treatment at Kathmandu Medical College, Sinamangal.

The accident took place when a tipper (Ba 4 Kha 8725) hit a motorcycle (Ba 2-030 Pa 940) at Kathmandu Metropolitan City-9.

Similarly, the injured pillion rider, Ambar Bahadur Pahari, 30, of Ramechhap, currently living in Bhaktapur, is undergoing treatment at the same hospital. Police have arrested the tipper driver.
