KATHMANDU: A writ petition has been filed at the Supreme Court seeking annulment of the oath taken by Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka.

Khadka was sworn in by the President on September 23 after Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba appointed him as the Foreign Minister.

Advocate Bishal Neupane filed a writ petition in the SC seeking annulment of the oath taken ‘unconstitutionally’ without any format envisaged by the law.

His writ has already been registered, said Supreme Court Spokesperson Baburam Dahal.
