Nepal Scout announces local scout committees at all 753 local levels



KATHMANDU: Nepal Scout has announced local scout committees at all 753 local levels.

The Nepal Scouts announced the committees and have appointed coordinators in all the municipalities.

According to Lok Bahadur Bhandari, National Coordinator of Nepal Scout, more than 4,000 youths have been produced as scoutmasters through state-level basic scout training.

He informed that currently, 75,000 youths are members of the Scout adding that the local scout committee would form scouts in every school within its jurisdiction and include youths between the ages of 6 and 25 in the scout.

He said that there are currently 65,000 community and institutional schools with scout structures.
