Surkhet records two new deaths linked with COVID-19



SURKHET: Two people infected with COVID-19 have died in the course of treatment at Kalagaun Province Hospital in Surkeht district.

According to Dr KN Paudel, the focal person of the hospital, a 64-year-old man of Bheriganga municipality-4 and 53-year-old man of Birendra municipality-13 succumbed to the virus while undergoing treatment.

The COVID-19 patient of Bherigand had been admitted to the hospital on April 18 and that of Birendranagar on April 24.

Similarly, a 75-year-old man infected with COVID-19 has died this morning in Dailekh district.

Originally from Narayan municipality-1, the septuagenarian man tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, said the hospital.
