Indian Army gifts 100,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to Nepal Army



KATHMANDU: The Indian Army has gifted 100,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine to the Nepal Army (NA) on Sunday.

According to the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, the Indian Army handed over the Serum Institute of India-made COVISHIED vaccines to the Nepali Army today.

NA Spokesperson Santosh Ballav said the 100,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine would be used for NA personnel.

Earlier, India provided 1 million doses of the vaccine to Nepal.
