Newly-promoted SSPs, SPs of Armed Police conferred with insignias



KATHMANDU: Inspector General of the Armed Police Force (IGP) Shailendra Khanal has conferred insignias on five officers who have been promoted to the post of Senior Superintendents of Armed Police (SSPs) and 15 who have been promoted to Superintendents of Police (SPs).

They were conferred with insignias at a special function at APF Headquarters in Halchowk.

During the ceremony, IGP said that promotion is an important part of professional development, adding that they were promoted after evaluating contribution to the state and the organization as well as professional ability and efficiency.

Expressing congratulations and best wishes to the promoted officers, he directed them to remain active in the field with full professionalism, discipline, and a sense of responsibility to fulfill the responsibilities received along with the promotion.
