Man nabbed for duping youths of Rs nine million on pretext of sending them to Canada



KATHMANDU: A man has been arrested on the charge of duping youths on the pretext of sending them to Canada.

Police have arrested Dhiraj Kumar Bishwakarma on the basis of a complaint that he had duped 33 people on the pretext of sending them to Canada for foreign employment.

According to Kaski District Police Office Spokesperson and DSP Subash Hamal, Bishwakarma, a resident of Shisuwa in Pokhara-30 has been nabbed.

According to DSP Hamal, Bishwakarma had duped youths of Rs nine million claiming that he has sent many people to different countries for foreign employment.

A case has been registered against Bishwakarma, who was arrested on the charge of fraud, and further investigation is underway, police said.
