PANCHTHAR: Police have arrested Indra Kumar Nembang of Falgunanda rural municipality-2, Imbung, on the charge of murdering his wife.
Indra Kumar struck his wife Jivan Kumari Nembang,45, with a pestle on Friday afternoon, informed District Police Office, Panchthar.
Critically injured Jivan Kumari died in the course of treatment at Birta City Hospital, Birtamod on Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, a police squad deployed from Area Police Office, Birtamod, Jhapa, have arrested Indra Kumar and are investigating the case.
