Three killed in separate road accidents



KATHMANDU: Three people have been killed in separate road accidents in Makwanpur, Saptari and Mahottari districts.

Forty-five-year-old Padam Bahadur BK died after being hit by a tractor at Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City-8. BK was traveling in an auto-rickshaw when it was hit by the tractor.

Similarly, Thageshwari Bhagat, 45, died after being struck by a passenger bus, Ko 1 Kha 7784, at Khadak municipality-7, Kalyanpur, Saptari yesterday.

The bus struck her at 11 pm.

Likewise, 38-year-old Hari Bahadur Bhujel of Marin rural municipality-1, Sindhuli died after being hit by a scooter at Pipara rural municipality-5 in Mahottari district.

Bhujel was struck by the scooter while he was walking on the road at 6 pm yesterday, said District Police Office, Mahottari.
