KATHMANDU: The second wave of coronavirus infection has the valley under its grip terrifying and making the people flee from the capital valley.

As an attempt to curb the pandemic the valley administration has decided to enforce the prohibitory order effective from April 29 restricting the city life almost to a halt.

Crowds of people rushing home before the ban begins are a sight to see at the Gongabu based New Bus Park. They are leaving for their home hometowns hailing those areas safe from viruses.

Making the notice about the prohibitory orders two days prior to its enforcement, the Kathmandu administration seems to have advised the people to evacuate within two days.

Students are returning home with a plan to continue online classes from home whereas the office workers are also hopeful to contribute from home.

At present, more than 400 vehicles leave daily from Gongabu Bus Park for different districts.
