1,600 candidates recommended for caregivers in Israel



KATHMANDU: The Department of Foreign Employment has recommended 1,600 candidates for caregivers in Israel.

After passing the language test, 1,600 eligible candidates were recommended to the Population and Immigration Authority of Israel (PIBA).

According to the Israeli Embassy in Nepal, 70 percent of women and 30 percent of men have been recommended as caregivers.

The PIBA of Israel will select from the list recommended by the Department.

There will be an employment agreement between the individuals selected by the PIBA and the employer. People with employment agreements will be able to go to Israel.

According to the Department, a roster of 1,400 will be prepared and 1,000 workers will be selected by Israel from the Department.

The Department estimates that the cost including visa and ticket will be around one lakh 65 thousand.
