KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two persons in possession of illegal drug brown sugar from Basgadhi Municipality of Bardiya Sunday.
The arrested have been identified as Suraj Tharu, 23, and Prakash Tharu, 19, of Badkideuda, Basgadhi Municipality-7. DSP Hem Bahadur Shahi, spokesperson of Bardiya District Police Office, said 180 mg of brown sugar was recovered from them.
Further investigation into them is underway, police said.
