Four houses destroyed as bushfire spreads to human settlement



BHOJPUR: Four houses were destroyed after a bushfire at a community forest spread to the human settlement in Bhojpur.

Four houses belonging to Arjun Rai, Kanchan Rai, Bhim Bahadur Rai, and Shanta Kumari Rai of Hatuwagadhi rural municipality-8 were completely destroyed when the forest fire taken place at Maldhunga community forest entered the human settlement on Thursday evening, according to the District Police Office, Bhojpur.

Similarly, a cowshed belonging to Kali Bahadur Rai was also destroyed in the incident. Further details of the loss caused by fire are still awaited added police.
