NEPSE index down by 17.79 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased by double-digit on the third trading day of the week on Monday.

The NEPSE index closed at 2,423.09 points after registering a decline by 17.79 points.

However, the Sensitive Index fell by 4.58 points to close at 447.24 points.

Out of 12 sub-indices, shares of only two sub-indices witnessed an increase. Finance and Hotels sub-indices increased by 13.07 and 54.05 points respectively.

The stock market has witnessed a turnover of Rs 8.27 billion today.
