Maoist Center to convert National Conference into a General Convention



KATHMANDU: The CPN-Maoist Center has decided to convert the National Conference, which is scheduled to start in Kathmandu from Sunday, directly to the General Convention.

According to party spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara, the party’s standing committee meeting held at the party’s central office Paris Danda Saturday decided to hold the 8th General Convention in place of the national conference.

Mahara informed that the decision of the standing committee will be approved by the central committee meeting to be held Sunday morning.
