Nepal records 308 new COVID-19 cases, three deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 130 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 308 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 281 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 27 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 78 persons in Kathmandu, 36 in Lalitpur, and 16 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 130 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, three people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 298 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
