French Ambassador Bourbao calls on Finance Minister Sharma



KATHMANDU: French Ambassador to Nepal Gilles Bourbao has called on Finance Minister Janardan Sharma at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar on Monday.

During the meeting, Minister Sharma conveyed that there was ample opportunity to invest in the fields of organic agriculture, tourism, hydropower and others in Nepal and urged the Ambassador to facilitate French investors for the same.

According to Minister Sharma’s Secretariat, talks focused on mobilizing necessary assistance for the recovery from the monsoon rains that have caused great damage in Nepal, apart from COVID-19 pandemic.

Minister Sharma also discussed the damage caused by climate change to Nepal at the meeting.
