Govt bringing 100,000 doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine before Dashain



KATHMANDU: The governing is making reparations to procure 100,000 doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to be administered to children in Nepal, according to Umesh Shrestha, the Minister of State for Health and Population.

“The government has already placed an order for 100,000 doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and will be brought here in Nepal before Dashain,” said State Minister Shrestha.

The Health Ministry has been preparing to procure Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to inoculate children.

Shrestha also expressed his confidence that Nepal will vaccinate all the eligible population in the country by mid-April, 2022.
