Central security meet makes four-point decision on Sunday



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Central Security Committee chaired by Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has made a four-point decision at Singha Durbar on Sunday.

According to sources, the meeting decided to take measures to curb and control the possibility of the third wave of coronavirus pandemic and also ensure the proper management of the health materials together with controlling the black market.

Similarly, the meeting also decided to ensure the fair and timely distribution of relief materials to the victims of flood and landslide. It decided to facilitate the proper management of the health and food items to the victims.

Likewise, the meeting decided to control and manage the cyber-crime as it has been on the rise recently.

The meeting was attended by Home Secretary Maheshwar Neupane, Lieutenant General Prabhu Ram Sharma of Nepal Army, Inspector General of Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri, Inspector General of Armed Police Force Shailendra Khanal, Chief of National Investigation Department Ganesh Prasad Adhikari, Alok Chandra Shrestha of Ministry of Defense and Home Ministry Spokesperson Phanindra Mani Pokharel.
