Hupsekot Rural municipality shut down



NAWALPARASI: The Hupsekot rural municipality in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta east) has shut down all its services today.

The decision was taken to mourn the demise of one of its village council members.

The village council member Bishnu Maya BK,62, died during medical treatment on July 23.

The Rural Municipality chair Laxmi Devi Pandey said the rural municipality will remain shut today in respect of BK.

As a result, all services provided by the rural municipality office has been closed for today.

Lauding the role play by BK in the overall development of the rural municipality, Chair Pandey said the demise of BK was an irreparable loss to the rural municipality.
