NC decides not to form alliance with any NCP faction unless formally divided



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided not to form an alliance with any group of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) unless it is formally divided.

The main opposition decided not to support any group after discussions with former and current office-bearers held at the residence of NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Thursday,

NC Joint General Secretary Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat said that a decision will be taken after how political development happens after the meeting of the House of Representatives begins.

“After the commencement of the Parliament, NC will take the necessary decision as the situation progresses. It is not the right time to support one group or another. “

Mahat has also claimed that no group of the ruling party has offered for forming an alliance with the party.
