1.5 million likely to be deprived of MLBSL IPO



KATHMANDU: The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of the Mahila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (MLBSL) will be distributed on Friday morning.

According to SBI Merchant Banking, the issue manager, the IPO will be allotted at 8 am tomorrow.

As many as 1,540,048 people had applied for 2,34,333,770 units of shares worth Rs 2.46 billion.

It is seen that 37,500 applicants will get shares at the rate of 10 shares based on the 375,000 shares offered to the public. More than 1.5 million people will be deprived of IPOs.

As there are more applications than the demand, only 37,500 people will get shares at the rate of a minimum of 10 lots as per the Securities Issuance and Distribution Directive.
