Man robbed of scooter and gold ring in Kathmandu; one arrested



KATHMANDU: Metropolitan Police Circle, Swoyambhu has arrested a man allegedly involved in the loot of scooter and gold ring.

According to the Metropolitan Office sources, Surya Blon 23, an inhabitant of Mirchei Rural Municipality-7, Khanikhola has been nabbed on Monday morning on allegations of looting, Ba 60 Pa 7910, scooter, and a gold ring worth Rs 48,000 of Sajan Tamang.

Three-four unidentified persons in a taxi, Ba 2 Ja 2050, robbed Sajan’s scooter and ring at Nagarjun-6 Dandapauwa Street while the latter was returning home from work.

The arrested is found to be the driver of the taxi.
