Bharatpur Municipality Coordinator of Biplav group Shrestha arrested



KATHMANDU: Chitwan Police have arrested Suman Shrestha, coordinator of Bharatpur Municipality of the Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ faction.

Shrestha, 24, of Dhading Galchi Gaonpalika-1 and currently living in Bharatpur Municipality-11, was arrested on Friday.

Shrestha, who is also a member of the Secretariat of ANNFSU (Revolutionary) Chitwan, has been arrested on the charge of spreading rumors of Nepal Bandh, according to police.

Shrestha has been remanded in custody for seven days, police said.
