KATHMANDU: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel discussed the matter of vaccinating students above 12 years against COVID-19 with Minister for Health and Population Birodh Khatiwada on Tuesday.

At the meeting held at the Ministry of Health and Population, Minister Poudel suggested that all students above 12 years of age should be vaccinated soon, as they have started attending schools physically. He stressed on the need for the children to be vaccinated against corona at the school itself.

On the occasion, Health Minister Khatiwada shared that 10 million doses of vaccine have been secured for children under 18 years of age in the country. A total of 30 million doses of vaccine are in the pipeline to arrive here.
