Nepal sees 1,476 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Nine more die of coronavirus



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 1,476 new cases of coronavirus while 1,550 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 1,103 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 373 from antigen method.

Likewise, there are 256 cases in Kathmandu, 35 in Bhaktapur and 73 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 364 in past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 9 infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours.
