Adanchuli of Humla without internet service for past one week

HUMLA: Service recipients of Adanchuli rural municipality have been facing problems due to the disruption of internet service for the past week.

The rural municipality lies in the southern part of the Humla district.

The internet service was gone here for the past one week following some problem at the tower of World Link installed at Sorukot of Soru rural municipality in neighboring Mugu district.

Works have been hampered due to this at banks, financial institutions, health institutions, community schools, rural municipalities, and ward offices.

Manager of Global IME Bank, Ramesh Bahadur Rawal, said that although ward no 1 has started providing social security allowance through the Global IME Bank, the bank has been compelled to return the beneficiaries visiting the bank for the same empty-handed.

Rawal added that though the social security allowance amount of beneficiaries has already been deposited in their bank account, they are compelled to return with empty hands.

Similarly, other customers visiting the bank for various purposes have also been facing the problem due to obstruction of internet service.
