Laxman Rajbanshi, founder of Siddhartha Vanasthali, passes away



KATHMANDU: Laxman Rajbanshi, the founding principal of the Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute, has passed away.

According to his family sources, Rajbanshi, who was admitted to Norvic Hospital after he fell off stairs of his house two weeks ago, passed away in the course of treatment at 8:30 am today.

Rajbanshi had also become a lawmaker through the propertional representational system from Nepa: National Party.

His funeral rites will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat this afternoon.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
