Dharahara Tower to be inaugurated today



KATHMANDU: The historical Dharahara tower is being inaugurated on Saturday.

The reconstruction of the tower has been complete. Prime Minister KP Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the tower today.

Chief Executive Officer of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), Sushil Gyawali has said preparations have been completed for the inauguration.

The 25 April 2015 mega-earthquake had devastated historical heritages, including Dharahara. With the accomplishment of most of the reconstruction works, NRA is all set to organize a program for a decade-long mega campaign for building disaster risk-free Nepal.
