Nepal records 351 new COVID-19 cases, nine deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 144 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 351 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 313 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 38 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 105 persons in Kathmandu, 30 in Lalitpur, and 9 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 144 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, nine people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 273 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
