513 more added to coronavirus tally in 24 hours

Eight die of pandemic again



KATHMANDU: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 513 people in Nepal in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 4,972 people underwent PCR tests at various laboratories across the country, and 438 tested positive. Similarly, out of 1959 antigen tests carried out of late 75 tested positive.

Eight more coronavirus infected people died in the last 24 hours.

In the same period, 817 coronavirus infected people were discharged after recovery.

The recovery rate is 97.3 percent, the ministry said.
