KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Parliamentary Party Deputy Leader Subash Nemwang has urged other political party leaders to refrain from getting involved in CPN-UML disputes.

Congratulating Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Nemwang urged other parties not to interfere in the ongoing dispute within the UML.

He said, “We are constantly endeavoring to address the problem within the UML. We believe that we will solve the problem. Therefore, we urge other part leaders not to get involved in the disputes within the UML party.”

Leader Nemwang said he would support the government in its good work but will continue to caution the government if it tried to go out of track.

He said, “As a responsible opponent, we call wrong things wrong. But we will move forward responsibly.”

Nemwang also said that the UML will be constantly monitoring all the ministries’ performance. “We will also be evaluating the government’s performance,” he added.

He also reiterated his party’s stance saying that the PM Deuba-led government was “not a people-mandated government” since it has been formed by the court.
