Three of a family buried to death in Rolpa



ROLPA: Three people of a family died after being buried by a landslide in Rolpa district.

The deceased have been identified as 86-year-old Karati Budha, 18-year-old Sushila and 15-year-old Shyam Kala of Rolpa municipality-9, Hwama, said District Police Office, Rukum.

They were buried to death while they were sleeping after their house collapsed due to a landside triggered by incessant rains on Tuesday night.

Other three people including Tikasingh Budha, the house owner, who were sleeping in the house are safe.

Meanwhile, a rescue police team led by DSP Naresh Subedi has reached the incident site.
