NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 153.81, while the selling rate is Rs 154.41.

The buying rate for one euro has been fixed at Rs 173.31 and the selling rate at Rs 173.99. Similarly, the buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs 202.94 and the selling rate is Rs 203.74, while the Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 183.76 and a selling rate of Rs 184.48.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 106.61 and the selling rate is Rs 107.03. For one Canadian dollar, the buying and selling rates are Rs 107.88 and Rs 108.30, respectively. The Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 120.01 for buying and Rs 120.48 for selling.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.71, while the selling rate is Rs 9.75. The buying rate for one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.94 and the selling rate is Rs 23.03. Similarly, one Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 40.96 and a selling rate of Rs 41.12, while one Qatari riyal has been fixed at Rs 42.20 for buying and Rs 42.36 for selling.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.56 and the selling rate is Rs 4.58. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 41.88 and a selling rate of Rs 42.04, while the Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs 37.66 for buying and Rs 37.80 for selling.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.26 and the selling rate is Rs 11.30. The buying rate for one Swedish krona is Rs 15.29 and the selling rate is Rs 15.35, while one Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 23.18 and a selling rate of Rs 23.27.

The buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 19.60 and the selling rate is Rs 19.68. One Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs 499.46 and a selling rate of Rs 501.41, while one Bahraini dinar has been fixed at Rs 407.97 for buying and Rs 409.56 for selling. The buying rate for one Omani rial is Rs 399.51 and the selling rate is Rs 401.07.

The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that rates quoted by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s rates. Updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
