Everyone will be vaccinated before election: PM Oli



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that everyone will be vaccinated against the coronavirus before the elections.

Interacting with journalists at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar Sunday, PM Oli said that the government was trying to vaccinate everyone before the election, and discussions regarding vaccine procurement were ongoing with several countries and their representatives.

President Bidhya Devi Bhandari declared mid-term election for November 12 and 19 by dissolving the House of Representatives in the wee hours of Saturday.

Covishield and Verocell vaccines have been administered to people in Nepal. So far, 2,113,080 people have received the second dose and 514,253 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
