Lockdown in Delhi extended till May 31



NEW DELHI: Lockdown has been extended in Delhi till May 31, announced Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

The lockdown restrictions in Delhi will continue till 5 am on May 31, he said.

“If the Covid-19 cases continue to drop, the process to unlock the city in a phased manner may start,” he said, according to India Today.

Delhi on Saturday registered as many as 1,600 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

Kejriwal also said that unlocking in Delhi may start after May 31 if the Covid-19 cases continue to decrease.
