Janakpur: Province 2 Governor Dr. Rajesh Jha ‘Ahiraj’ has suggested the scheme ‘One village, One bank’ for expansion of banking system in the country.

The province chief held discussion with Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari and chief executive officers (CEOs) of several commercial banks at a program organized in Janakpur Tuesday.

Province Chief Jha ‘Ahiraj’ urged officials of the banking sector to expand banking system by bringing in schemes targeting youths in the country. He suggested the banking sector to facilitate youths with funds to stop the flow of the country’s energetic workforce to foreign countries.

He hoped that banking system would expand to every nook and cranny of the country, and all and sundry would be part of the banking system.
