TSC announces vacancies for 2,600 lower secondary level teachers

KATHMANDU: Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced vacancies for 2,598 lower secondary level teachers today.

Issuing a notice on Wednesday, the TSC has announced vacancies for lower secondary level teachers (third class). Qualified candidates can apply for the posts starting today until January 20 and by paying double the fee by January 27.

The vacancies have been announced both under open and inclusive categories.

Highest number of vacancies have been announced for English subject teachers with 624 followed by Science with 437. The written test will be held on March 31 at 11 am.

Examination fee has been fixed at Rs 700 and along with an additional Rs 500 for those applying under inclusive category. Applicants have to reach 18 years of age and should not exceed 40 on January 20 to qualify for the post.
