BAITADI: Four persons died in a jeep accident occurred at Dasharathchand Municipality-4 at about 8:00pm Sunday.
The jeep (Ma 1 Ja 310) was carrying the people attending a marriage. It was heading to Simayal from Dehimadau of the district.
Four persons died on the spot, said Bodhraj Ojha, officiating police chief in Baitadi. “Currently, at least four persons died and it could increase. We’re now on rescue works, “he added.
However, identity of those killed in the accident is not established. Three persons got injury. The jeep fell some 700 meters down the roadway, according to Darshan Khadka, Police Inspector mobilized in the rescue works.
