POKHARA: Buddha Air, a private airlines company in Nepal, is planning to operate direct Pokhara-Simara flights from September 1, making Pokhara as its base.
The airlines company has said it will conduct direct flights to Simara from Pokhara three days a week.
Issuing a press note Friday, Buddha Air has unveiled a fight schedule starting from September 1.
According to the press note it will operate direct Pokhara-Simara flights three days a week (Sunday, Wednesday and Friday) in the first phase and conduct flights on a daily basis if demanded by the passengers in the future.
The Pokhara-Simara flight will take place at 12:20 pm and Simara-Pokhara flight at 1:15 pm, said Gautam Baral, the Pokhara-based station manager.
Buddha Air has been operating direct flights to various provinces, making Pokhara as its base, of late.
The direct Pokhara-Simara flights will increase activities in religious and tourism sites located in and around Simara and Birgunj, said Rupesh Joshi, the marketing director of the company.
