KATHMANDU: The KP Oli faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) will be organizing a mass assembly in Kathmandu on February 5.

Addressing a function in Kathmandu on Friday, Prime Minister Oli announced to hold a massive assembly in Kathmandu.

“I observed the massive assembly. What a mass assembly looks like will be shown during our assembly slated for February 5,” said PM Oli mocking the protest assembly organized by NCP Prachanda-Nepal faction.

Targeting the protest by Prachanda-Nepal faction, the Prime Minister said that filling up people in narrow alleys doesn’t make an assembly.

In his address, Prime Minister Oli said that the election scheduled for next April will be taken as a movement and the pace of good governance and development will be accelerated.

He also urged not to threaten the court as there is no provision in the constitution for the restoration of the House of Representatives.
