Province 2 CM Raut expands cabinet; inducts two ministers from Unified Socialist

JANAKPURDHAM: Province 2 Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut has expanded his cabinet.

On the recommendation of Chief Minister Raut, Province Chief Harishankar Mishra administered the oath of office to two ministers from the CPN-Unified Socialist.

Shutradhan Mahato, leader of the parliamentary party of Unified Socialist Province 2, has been sworn in as Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment, and Pramod Yadav has been sworn in as Minister for Law, Justice and Provincial Affairs.

In order to bring the Unified Socialists into the government, Chief Minister Raut had expelled his own party Minister for Industry, Tourism and Forests Ram Naresh Ray.

Earlier, Gyanendra Yadav had resigned from the post of minister.

A four-party coalition government has been formed in Province 2.
