Week-long lockdown enforced in Nepalgunj



NEPALGUNJ: The Banke District Administration Office has enforced a lockdown in Nepalgunj for one week beginning Wednesday midnight.

The decision to this effect was made after the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre recommended the lockdown to control the spread of the coronavirus.

According to an order issued by Chief District Officer Shiva Ram Gelal, only emergency services such as ambulances and supply vehicles can operate during the lockdown period.

However, the pre-scheduled examinations will take place.
