COVID-19: India records new 294,290 infections, 2,020 deaths

NEW DELHI: India recorded 294,290 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 15,609,004.

Currently, 2,156,571 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 13,269,863 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 182,500-mark.

With 2,020 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 182,570, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.
