NEPSE decreases by 17.93 points today

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 17.93 points on Monday.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2358.81 points.

A total of 5.43 million shares of 231 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 2.46 billion.

Shares of all groups except manufacturing and microfinance declined today.

Shares of Insurance, Hydropower and Development Bank Group fell sharply.

Shares of Mountain Energy Nepal decreased by 6 percent and shares of Narayani Development Bank, Malung Khola Hydropower, Tehrathum Power Company, Samridhi Finance, Liberty Energy and Chyangdi Hydro declined more than 5 percent today. Shares of Gorkhaj Finance and Himalayan Distillery increased by 10 percent despite the overall market decline.
